To play a Blues in E, we’ll need to learn to switch between three chords – E7, A7 and B7.

E7A7B7

In this first installment we’ll look at E7 and A7 and get used to going back and forth between the two chords. Then we’ll set up a 4/4 rhythm and start to put them into the context of a Blues form. In the next installment we will add the B7 to the mix and finish learning the full 12 bar Blues structure.
